Sydney, Hobart

After checking out we have a couple of hours before our flight to Hobart and therefore leave our luggage at the hotel and go for a wander. We don't go too far, just wander around the local area and check our emails and the internet for a while. We pick our bags up and go to the street corner to grab a taxi, surprisingly the guy has a brother in London and chats away to us throughout the journey. The taxi is cheaper than the shuttle we took from the airport for both of us, so we note this for our return to Sydney.

The flight to Hobart is uneventful and on landing we take a cab to our destination B&B, the Crow's Nest as we know it is not in the centre of town and difficult to get to by public transport with heavy bags. Thankfully the taxi driver knows the way and we find our accommodation very luxurious. It is a huge studio with kitchen facilities and bathroom overlooking the city. There is even bread, eggs, butter, jam and milk in the fridge ready for the morning as well as loads of tea bags, who could ask for anything more! We settle in for the night and plan the next few days on Tasmania.
